Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

bit of a dull question but has anyone thought of what is going to be cost of a nvlink, the new cards are said to use it, correct me if wrong but no mobo manufactures are going to bundle one of those as they are quite expensive alone, do you think nvidia will offer you one at a cut down price if you order 2 cards or will they be money grabbers and make you pay full wak for one?

Good question, I would say you will have to pay full price for one. But, if you wait for a custom card you might get one thrown in.

***just remember how strix 1080 OC hit £800 after launch as FE cards and AIB cards went out of stock fast and a month + worth of back log built up.

want a card.. just order it asap- want AIB custom board- you'll wait a while and pre-order as soon as listed!!!!

How many of your are out then? Need to know numbers to judge how quickly I can get delivery :D
Personally was more interested in the xx70/xx60.

But given how much those could potentially be now (xx70 <£500; xx60 ~£360)... I'm not even sure about that. :(

Just expect the worst. NVIDIA seem to be under the illusion there is no market cap at the moment, but that's why nobody is interested in the HDR panels vendors are putting out, because of the ridiculous tax NVIDIA is putting on them. I still can't believe someone sat down and agreed that £1,700 for a 27" monitor is not a joke (actually, closer to £2,100)

Yeah, a 27 inch monitor for more than £2000 is really taking the proverbial!! But, people justified the price saying if you want the best you have to pay it, blah blah. And, already several of the people who have complained long and hard about high prices, blaming AMD, retailers etc. are already lining up to buy the next round of cards no matter what the price.

I'm out at that pricing. 1080Ti still great.

Let’s just wait until 5-6pm and the pages go live with pricing until then as far as I’m concerned it’s all speculation.

If I get 450-500 for the 1080ti then the upgrade hasn’t cost as much as I think but I’m going to apply logic and see benches. If it tears the 1080ti a new one I’ll justify it

Until then any thing is speculation including leaked benches already out etc

Someone posting some disgusting images over on wccf.. i thought the abusive comments would be as low as it went, but nope. I give up with that place.

It really shows that there are some horrible people out there. I go over to that site to look at the comments if I am feeling a bit down, because then I realise, actually my life it pretty damn good, I am not like any of these idiots. :D
