So Jays2Cents is saying:

2070 is the 1080
2080 is the 1080ti
2080ti is the Titan

Makes the pricing a bit more tolerable when looked at like that.

Nvidia PR will like that. So is he getting a couple of concessionary RTX2080TI cards at launch then?

So the plan was to get people buying Titans who'd wouldnt before touch a £1100 card by calling it a TI, and get people to spend £900 on a 2080 instead of half that for a 1080, and who knows what for a 2070 instead of £280 for a 970 4 years ago.

Still 2080 pricing is evolving as we wait with quite a few options below £720 now - Nvidia blinking first I think

I'll be interested IF a 2070 is a better performer than a 1080.

I really cant justify £750 (FE) on a GPU.

I don't even have that much time any more for gaming any way...

Except that's not the case at all. The 2080Ti is the TU102, the 2080 is the TU104 and the 2070 is rumoured to be a TU106.
