how long do we think until 3rd party 1160s are launched? October/November?
Can't wait! Definitely pre-ordering the 1180.
1080ti performance in a 1170 which runs much more efficiently for under £400 would be nice indeedUrgh just hurry up already!
Give me 1080/1080ti performance for £350 please, kthxbye!

1080 performance at £350 would be very disappointing though. I purchased Gregsters 1080 for £380 over a year ago now.
Seems an odd comment given these cards have quite a performance gap
1080 performance for £350 is already possible anyway if you buy 2nd hand
Yup, £350 for 1080 performance will be a joke and chances are, if that's the case, I'll just look to buy a second hand 1080 or even a 1080 ti from MM.
£350/400 for 1080 ti performance and as you said, all the other improvements would be nice though. This is what I would expect to happen in a "normal" market and going by history but not now....
Hopefully be able to sell my 290 for about £100 too.
Really would love to stick to AMD but I badly want a much cooler/quieter running card now.

Can't wait! Definitely pre-ordering the 1180.
NVIDIA:
Ray-Tracing and more of Ray-Tracing demos
Game work new DX12 and Vulkan libraries
4K HDR 120Hz screens
New G-SYNC standard to support HDMI 2.1
New VR/AR libraries
So it was just the usual WCCF bull poo then?
I think if AMD do release a gaming GPU before 2H 2019 the author needs to be made to eat their article live on Twitch whilst the editor consumes what comes out the other side.
They often just guess or even make stuff up to get site views (revenue), so hence why you should always take with a pinch of salt.Am I missing something? People here keeps discrediting WCCFTech, right... Some posts an article then gets all hyped. Rinse and repeat.

What’s important, nowhere does the invitation mention new GeForce series or new hardware. What is promised is hands-on presentation of the latest PC gaming titles. That’s it. Yet still, no one would offer a free trip to Europe if it wasn’t important.
