If you can afford 2 x 2080ti's or 2080's I don't think an extra £80 is going to represent much of a hurdle.

I've changed my mind on the RTX2080, I think once the new features are supported we should see improvements in the gap between the GTX1080Ti so it will be worth it in the end.
The 1080Ti is still a great card but unless it drops down to around £500 mark I don't think it's worth it long term.

Hopefully the Asus Rog Strix 2080 Ti will drop down to a more reasonable price of £1399.99 and then I'll bite.

Looking at the EVGA forums, seems the voltage on these cards is totally locked down and can't be altered? A combination of this and boost 4.0 supposedly makes for little OC headroom.
