I see ocuk have stock of the Asus 2080ti dual card that has magically jumped up in price around £200 or so.

Actually looking at the card listings a LOT of the cards have jumped upto the £1400 mark despite being cheaper last week

This launch is comical to say the least, even the supposed "cheap" version of a card has just eclipsed titan X price point.

Heck, it almost makes more sense to watercool... buy a 2080Ti FE, put a block on it, res/pump and some fittings and you're not much more than one of the AIB air cooled cards lol!!

Love it - an insane kind of markup that makes the £1500 ASUS strix look good value!!!!!!!!

They did this last week with the Zotac AMP, there was 5 of them when I looked at £1400 and they all disappeared. But I guess doing it with the ASUS dual is another level.

This isn't throwing accusations around or anything but are retailers under any obligations to be honest about live stock levels or can they change them at will, regardless if any have actually sold?

I know there are enough people willing to pay the extra just to have one now.

As long as it's still a TU102-A it shouldn't make much difference, just down to cooling and noise I would have thought. I've not seen much evidence of the AIB boards being much better overclockers than the FE boards so far.
