I'm upgrading from an R9 290, looking at either getting a 1080ti or a 2070. Tempted to wait it out a bit more and see if there are any good Black Friday deals.

That's not even a choice, the 1080ti will be better than the 2070.

Looks like I will be getting a 1080ti then! I've just ordered an XB271HU so hopefully it will be a decent upgrade over 1080/60 gaming

Just WTF, this thing was about £1250 yesterday on preorder, now they have a few it's gouged by over £500. :eek:

I had this page on auto refresh on my 2nd monitor waiting for stock to come in, at £30 more than elsewhere I would have bought, but a £530 gouge?! Haha

This is by far the worst launch EVER for etailers digging the elbow in. Totally unrealistic prices and some lunatics are actually paying it as they apparently need a new toy.

Clearly the UK market needs a new player, someone to come in who is like an angel who wont price gouge, basically someone who is willing to sacrifice profits. It only needs one such retailer then the rest are screwed until they follow suit.

I guess the 2080s are not selling well they have already dropped in price and there is one for under £700 on overclockers i noticed today.

Its funny that the 2080's are going down while the 2080 ti's are going up.
