I have never said I was getting a 2080 Ti, I am keeping my options open.
Once stock is more freely available and I have seen how they perform I will decide whether the cards are suitable for what I want.
Have you never considered taking the same approach as me?
I was just kidding mate. I know how you feel. Nvidia are taking the biscuit with pricing, it is as simple as that. 2080Ti should be under $700, like every other time in history for that tier GPU as far as I remember. If it was, I (pretty sure you too) would have one sitting in my machine right now, or at least on pre-order waiting like many others

See sig...no gpu is worth £1100 to me...I want bang for buck...that’s it. What’s annoying is I have the cash...I’m disappointed I won’t be getting a new gfx card due to poop performance per dollar...I need to get moist...and this release makes me as dry as a bone...

The Titan V is very capable at 2160p and the HBM2 works well at the resolution.

One criticism I have of the current implementation of Ray Tracing is everything looks so glassy and metallic.
In bfv they did say it was being dialed back to some degree, i think it was overdone just to make it more stand out for demo purposes.
Because in games glass is perfect and clean and water is completely pure and still.
