All this does is confirm that these Turing turkeys are going to have just about the shortest product life cycle in Nvidia's history. By this time next year, the 20xx cards will just be a bad memory.
No I don't think Turing will have the shortest product life cycle, Turing RTX 2080 is now 2 months, 11 days or 72 days old. Nvidia now planning to launch RTX Titan this month then RTX 2060 and RTX 2050 in early 2019. 7nm probably a year away and Turing will be a year old with good fond memory of the first architecture to have both ray tracing cores and tensor cores

When NV30 launched I was not very impressed with reviews and waited 7 months later for NV35 Geforce FX 5900 Ultra and very pleased with heat and noise, I bought Tesla Geforce 7900 GTX on launch day but was annoyed when Nvidia launched next generation Tesla 2.0 Geforce GTX 280 7 months and 30 days later and someone on NVNvews forum recommended me to gave AMD a chance for first time and bought Sapphire Radeon 4870 but the Radeon drivers was the worst I experienced with so many issues with every games the drivers break it and RMAed it for refund 3 weeks after bought it then bought GTX 260 and I was really very impressed with performance, much faster than Geforce 7900 GTX but annoyed when Nvidia launched 55nm GTX 260 Core 216 3 months later. Bought GTX 470 and very pleased with it, not regretted it and skipped Fermi 2.0 refresh.
I remembered read posts in many forums people bought G92 cards on launch days and very impressed with performance boost on 65nm shrink of Geforce 8800 GTX which I bought on launch day and decided to skipped G92 but 2 months and 19 days later Nvidia launched Tesla Geforce GTX 280 and G92 owners was not happy and very annoyed at Nvidia surprise Tesla 2.0 launch.
