The next X04 part will likely be 1080Ti performance, while X02 will be around V100 numbers of FP32 cores but with better gaming performance compared to Titan V. with it around 40% better than GP102 due to having 40% more cores.

What if your 1170 will be built on 7nm?

Unlikely, but if it is, I am happy to hold onto it until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out as a 1170 I expect will have enough grunt for my purposes until then.

FYI the guy on the video it not Elim Garak a Cardassian, but Senator Vreenak a Romulan....

We know bro. I think you may have misread the posts ;)

I see NVidia have got the FE GTX 1080 Ti back in stock.

'Limit 10 per customer'

Lol, they're drowning in stock, as soon as they announce the new cards I bet these things will get an immediate $50-$100 price cut across the range and within a couple of months, the Ti will be available on offer for about £499 which would be a fair price for a two year old design that will still be competitive in gaming for another 2-3 years at least, at 1440p.

Considering 1170 should match and 1180 clearly outperform it, the 1080ti shouldn't be sold for more than 400£.

That just makes me wonder how expensive the 1180 will be... I'm betting 650£. Also because of the sad state of our currency.

Where are you seeing info that the 1170 should match the 1080Ti?

970 didn't beat the 780ti by the looks of it
When you factor in the ridicolous overclock potential of the 970, yes it did match the ti.

So I assume the 1170 will be essentially as fast as the 1080Ti. That's why pricing will be interesting (as in: probably awful).
