Geil 16GB Ram Mac Mini

What's your new mini like? Done any gaming on it? I am really tempted to sell up for one soon enough.

But on topic I think that memory should the the right one, you want laptop ddr3 (which it is) have a double check on the crucial memory selector if you need to make sure ;)
 
Havent done any gaming but I will be giving it a try, My first mac so just trying to get the hang of it really.

Well I was doing a bit of research and it seems like the right stuff, But now I've went on the Crucial site and its saying 1.35v stuff? Everywhere else says 1.5v.
 
That's the one I'm looking of getting for my 2011 mbp. It still works on 1.5v (it is a requirement of the companies) but i'm more interested if it works on 1.35. Lower voltage should mean lower temps in generally and this is what i want to go for. For you though the Geil might be better as temp shouldn't be that much of an issue and the timings look better.

Whichever you choose really.
 
Managed to pick up the Geil ram for £47 elsewhere and can confirm it works flawlessly.

Speeds the Mac up nicely aswell, Especially with Parallels :)

Next step, SSD. I'll also see if I can pick up one of the cables to run dual Hard drives in there.
