hello, just wondering what other people are getting from this geil value ram?
I am new to this overclocking & presently have an opty 146 running (8 hrs prime stable) @ 2.83g, 37 deg idle & 50 deg under load. My problem seems to be the ram though as it wont memtest past 215mhz (at slack timings) & i am having to run it on a divider lower than i would like
I have a mate who is telling me this ram should go to 220/230 before hitting any problems. ive tried upping the volts to 2.9 (shows as 2.95 in bios) but it still wont do better than 215mhz.
ive checked on the forums & have read of other people showing it on a divider running at around 230. have i just got poor ram?
am i worrying over nothing?
