GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 & P5G41C-M LC

My daughter has a cheap as chips Asus P5G41c-MLX motherboard with a Q6600 processor - this motherboard has both DD2 & DDR3 support and supports 1333(O.C) DDR3 ram - would this MB take GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9, albeit that it would work at a slower FSB?

Yes it should be able to, but like you mentioned will run at the reduced speed.

Yes, if it is the same stuff I have then pretty sure the SPD profile is 1333MHz anyways. So would work fine.
