I suspect I am being a right plonker but on my new build (first one) why is the RAM showing as 3200 in the bios?

The CPU is a E6700 which I have mildly overclocked - to 3.00 until the graphics started blinking on and off.

I have set the timings to 44412 and increased the voltage to 2.1.

Temps look ok 46-48c.

Additionally, I had clocked the 7600 fairly mildly (can remember but considerably less than has been seen on here). It was fine for a couple of days playing BF2 but yesterday on ending he session the display started blinking on and off.

Reset sorted that until I used the NVida control - did nothing but the same sympton occurred. Reduced the clock further - no difference and then to stock settings. Its ok but have not stressed it since.

Anyway you can probably guess I think the RAM is the issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't take those SPD timings being reported by cpuz as your current timings.
You should look at the memory section of cpuz, what does it say there.

Can you tell I dont know what I am doing lol.
