i finally got my 6300 to 3.15 lastnight 450*7 which ment my ram was running 100mhz quicker than rated. i had to up the voltage from the stock 2.10v to 2.25v just to get into windows as 2.1v couldnt hack it.
ive taken the overclock back 2.8 as the temps were too high.
whats the safest voltage i can put through my geil 6400 ram, they are advertised at 2.10v to 2.30v on ocuk, mine being 2.10v
