going to start a new build within 2-3 weeks, just spotted these babys on offer for £135. Worth me buying now? Going to be a c2d 4300 and a decent mobo (say £80-£90, either one of the 650s or a DS3?) Want to overclock it(obviously), and ill whack a after market CPU cooler on.
What you boys recon? is this the ram for me? and at this price would i be mad not to snap it up quickly?

I'm using 4GB of the stuff and I'm happy.
Just remember to read the little leaflet you get inside with the memory - the RAM uses "Safe Mode SPD" which basically means it attempts to run on 1.8v and DDR2-667.
As soon as you've installed the RAM you will want to go into the BIOS and either set the memory voltage manually to 2.1v or (usually if it's a Gigabyte Board) give the RAM a +.3v over-volt.
So long as you do this then you'll be fine.

I paid £105+vat for each of my kits, but that was a while back when pricing wasn't so high.
At £115+vat I'm currently toying with the idea of buying a couple more kits now, waiting a couple of weeks and then re-selling them on EBay as Brand New at profit.

yea i would have bought them ages ago but i knew they were a little over 100, and when i saw that they were close to £200 i decided to stall.
