GEIL GD38GB1600C11DC Blackdragon in Titan Xenomorph AVP

Hello All,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I have a question regarding the compatibility of 16GB of GEIL Blackdragon (GD38GB1600C11DC) in a Titan Xenomorph AVP edition.

I'm not that confident in what, if anything, would need changing in BIOS or other areas of the system ? I assumed it wouldnt be a simple case of swapping the sticks out.

It probably is just a matter of swapping the sticks.

What motherboard did that system use, and was it supplied overclocked?

I'm still on the suppled MB - Gigabyte H55M-UDH2 Intel H55.

Chipset is an i3 530 2.93GHz overclocked to 4GHz.

I've been using it this morning and had a 0x9c HARDWARE_EXCEPTION crash. I've ran memtestx86 a few times but that all passed.
