It is the system in the spec below, i am running 4 x 267 FSB, and RAM at DDR2 800 so its 2:3 ratio. I believe this ram is 4-4-4-12, and runs at 2V. However since the BIOS update for AW9D-MAX there is another timing at the bottom tRFC, refresh cycle time? Can somebody help me here. By default the RAM sets to 5-5-5-15 tRFC 35. Should i be forcing 4-4-4-12, and if so, what is tRFC.

Thanks in advance

Timings are 4-4-4-12 @2.1v for this ram. tRFC is row refresh cycle time. My mobo set's it high by default but i have manually set all the main timings and dropped tRFC down to 16. I read an article not long ago about how changing it to a lower value gave you a performance gain. It had benchies and everything. Just had a quick look around but i can't find it. I will post a link if i find it.

motherboard got stuck at C1 (Detect memory) when tRFC was set to 16, i put it at 2.1V and 4-4-4-12 though, left trfc as 35 and it has booted fine. any ideas?
