After noticing earlier that I had memory remap turned off and Vista was only recognising 3.2 gigs out of 4x1024mb Geil pc6400, I sorted that thanks to another post but now on cpu-z I've noticed 2 slots are running at 333 instead of 400??

Now I'm not great with bios stuff, but I've checked that have upped the voltage to 2.1v as stated on sticks, and think have set to 4-4-4-12 but still cpu-z says slots 1&2 are at 333mhz instead of 400 like 3&4, have I messed up the matched pairs or have I missed something obvious?

Mobo is an Asus P5W-DH with a C2D2.4 at stock, thanks.

I would ignore what the SPD tab of CPU-Z says. It's the Memory tab that counts, and it will show the single speed that all the sticks are currently running at.

Thanks cob, Memory says 400.7, 2:3 fsb:DRAM, 4-4-4-12 but 20 clocks for Bank cycle time.

How does that sound?

Cheers
