GeiL ram timings

im running my cpu at standard 1.8ghz speed.

what should i set my geil ultra low latency ddr2 pc800 to in bios ? as im getting vvlow scores in that fritz chess benchmark which i assume is slack ram timings ?

Set the memory voltage to +3 (2.1v), memory multiplier to x3, and the first four timings to 4-4-4-12. You can leave the rest on auto.

Btw you need to hit Ctrl + F1 on the main BIOS screen to unlock the RAM timings.

What's a memory multiplier?

It's the memory divider. It's called a multiplier on the P965 systems because you can't run lower than 1:1 or x2.0.
