I emailed Geil on Wednesday about RMAing one of the 1GB DDr2 6400 sticks and still no reply.

Any other options?

Within a year you can talk to the retailer and they have to sort it for you.

My experience with GeIL as a lot better - they sent me the form in <24hrs and the RMA was pretty quick considering it had to go all the way to Taiwan, plus it didn't even cost that much to post.

Try emailing again or contact the company you bought it from.

got it from Ocuk a few months ago about a month after Core2 was released.

sent Geil 3 emails and no reply

both sticks or just the 1? cus if both stick go then ave no pc and i need the pc for work

If its a kit you'll need to send both I believe. Geil's RMA service is actually pretty good, considering they're based in Taiwan, about 2 weeks it took. Did you email their .com.tw address? The USA one doesnt seem to work. Might be better going through ocuk though.

thanks for the input guys, its gonna have till wait untill the end of the month untill i get paid, cant afford to lose the machine for 2 weeks, so ill have to big up a 512MB stick on the cheap to tide me over
