geil ultra ddr 800 help needed

hi

ive just had a new system built with 2gb geil dual channel in it

the cpu is am2 4600

mobo is
ecs c51gm


anyhow, in cpu-z its telling me the ram is only running at cas 5 and at just over 300mhz


ive tried to change the ram settings in bios but seen no changes in the results of the program

my bios has only 3 options,

1. choose wether to use the max memory timings or auto

2. (only availible if auto isnt selected for 1) select ddrs speed from 400, 667, 800)

3. increase voltage by *normal *50 mV *100mV *150mV

changing the settings doesnt seem to have any effect though, can anyone help? it would be really appriciated

if anyone needs any pics of the bios, which is pheonix i think, or the cpu z then ill be happy to post them

bit gay that it maxes out there but its running at 5300 so ill just make do
