Gelid Icy Vision

I have a reference 5850 and the blower fan is starting to rattle.

I've been wanting to get an aftermarket cooler which could take a moderate overclock for a while without making the card too noisey, the rest of my system is very quiet.

Would anyone recommend this cooler?

I would reccomend an alternative to the gelid and that is the Artic Accelero Twin Turbo II

Doesn't the Gelid plug into the GPU?

Review says it doesn't have PWM control on AMD GPU's.

No the gelid will either be a 3pin fan header or molex job, whereas AC's plug into the original gpu fan header giving you PWM control with AMD gpu's.

Accelero is seriously fugly and fat, does it really need to block 3 slots like that?

If you want it to be quiet and cool in comparison to the **** reference cooler then yes.
