Im looking to order a completly new tower from OcUK and so far have come up with the following list of components.

Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - £139.99
Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping 2.66GHz - £211.99

Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir CPU Cooler - £33.99
or
Corsair H50 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1366) [CWCH50] - £57.99

Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Intel X58 DDR3 Motherboard - £199.98
Corsair XMS3 6GB PC3-12800C9 1600MHz DDR3 - £94.99
XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card [HD-587A-ZNF9] - £308.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA-II - £55.99
Corsair TX 750W Silent Power Supply - £114.99
Sony Optiarc AD-7240S 24x DVD+RW - £18.99
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional - Retail [7EC-00001] - £154.99

Total cost: £1358.89 inc VAT (asuming water cooling, obviously slightly cheaper without)

In general would it be better to go with the water cooler If I plan to overclock the I7?

Also Im not sure if anyone can answer this but I notice if I use the pc configurator on the site and select almost the exact same components / prices that the total comes to £1,536.88 inc VAT.

Is the extra for puting the system together prior to sending it out or is the configurator just borked and adding yet more VAT onto the final cost ?

looks like a solid spec - i7s are real easy to overclock you dont need to add allot of voltage to get to 4 ghz, less than 1.3 (stock being about 1.22) in most cases so a good aftermarket cooler is all you need. you could even use the stock cooler and get away with it in most cases! ofcourse if your experienced and you like watercooling your rigs then go for it!

Ive only ever heard other people talk about using water cooling.

The main reason I listed the above bit of kit is that its self contained and aparently doesnt need any maintenance.

Extra question, for anyone thats using the same case.

Are there any issues fitting the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 in the Antec 1200?

That should fit in the case no probs, and in answer to your earlier question the additional cost of the pc configurator option is due to the fact that they build it for you.
