Hi guys i just want some opinions on a few aspects of a potential build.
Im thinking of getting (no specifics yet):
Nvidia 480 gtx,
i7 2.66 or 2.8
6gb 1333 DDR3 memory
1000W modular psu
Coolermaster HAF 932 Case
Since i wont be using any liquid cooling and relying just on fans, is the HAF 932 good enough to cool the 480 since ive heard its really loud+hot.
Currently my Sli 8600gts 256mb idle's around 60 degrees and at load hits 90 degrees ( which i think is a lot?), is the 480 similar in heat?
Id be gaming at a resolution of around 1920 x 1080 too 1920 x 1200,
so is it really worth getting the 480 gtx or should i just get the 5870?
Although iv'e heard ATI have many driver problems?
Is a 1000W psu acceptible for future upgrades i.e potential sli or crossfire setup? With the current specs i know 1000W is a lot but would it affect the system or eat up extra power for no reason?
Sorry for all the questions but have not upgraded in years (guess u can tell from the 8600gts
).
Thanks.
