Is there any available software for checking that a given processor is fully functional?
I ask as I have spent the sodding weekend trying to get a good install of an I2500k and an Asrock extreme4 gen3.
I won't bore you with the various attempts, but I had many WIn7 64bit Ultimate probs and maybe with the Asrock software too.
I couldn't even get it to stay stable at 4.2......
So I want to check the CPU before I take things further.
