Hi Guys

Hope I haven't posted this in the wrong section.

I am curious to know whether if I run two sessions of World of Warcraft (2 accounts) on one machine whether each session will use different cores on the CPU.

Sorry if it's a lame question :)
 
No, they will use whatever they use. You can set the core affinity in task manager though to lock them to certain cores only though.
 
doubt it, and ive seen people mess around with task manager assuming they're doing it right. Then i had to sit there for ages explaining if they don't understand it, don't use it.


From my general usage of multiboxing wow, either your computer is up to it or it isn't, if its not running well then you really shouldn't be trying to find a trick to do it imo.

Wow is rather (extremely) low spec, running two shouldn't be taxxing,...


if i remember right theres a slider limiting background fps somewhere? maybe stick that down low, have the second client minimized, may help.
