General discussion for Cool n" Quiet

First of all I disable this option in BIOS.
I encounter some stability problems in the past.
What's your setting?

What are the temperatures (disabled vs. enabled) of course at full load.

GKR I tried for first time to enable this option on nForce3 system (MSI mainboard) and the CPU frequency became smaller (dropped multiplier) as you said.

MadMatty if I enable the Cool n" Quiet in BIOS for my current mainboard (ASUS nForce4) then speed won't change.

I think you also need the AMD drivers installed as well to make it work on some systems.

Maybe cos I have not installed anything.

Thanks for info PaulProteus actually my mainboard is for RMA but I will check the ASUS official site.
Just to play again with this option but I don't think to enable it
