Yeh cos a landlord is really going to want to rent out their property only to find their tenants have a stake in the property a few years later :/

You have already fallen at the first hurdle with "want immigration controlled". Immigration is controlled, and is it some of the lowest rates in the developed world, and far lower than non-EU countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Switzerland and Norway.

Are you just talking raw numbers though, because those countries you mentions (sans Switzerland) are physically bigger than the UK so it stands to reason they can take in more immigration.

The UK is hardly crowded though is it, we have plenty of physical space so it isn't a land area issue.

So your life revolves around Twitter. I live in the real world ;)

Yeah because the 'real world' doesn't use social media.

Frightening that people are actually supporting Bennett, Sturgeon and Wood.

All three women are doing a much better job in this debate. Strong messages and staying positive.

Supporting them is no more 'frightening' than people supporting UKIP.

Staying positive and strong messages will only go so far, where's the money coming from? The national debt would go through the roof with any of those clowns in a position of power. Problem is, the public will lap it up, as this poll shows.

Meh I'm all for anything to help people buy homes.

I can easily afford the cost of mortgage payments but i cant afford to pay rent (equivalent to a mortgage) while trying to put 10's of thousands of pounds aside to pay for deposit
