It was his own party slogan that tried to murder him.

This is correct - IIRC it was one of those planes that tows a message on a trailing banner, on take off somehow the banner got caught in the props and the plane crashed. Really it was lucky that no-one died, think the pilot was in worse shape than Farage afterwards. Not funny when you think about it.

I bet if labour get in they will end up raising tax, not by putting it up, but by reducing the thresholds where you start paying 40%.

You mean like the Tories did on multiple occasions during the last parliament?

I bet if the Conservatives get in again they'll raise VAT to 22%. I know Cameron has committed to not doing this (in parliament no less) but he made the same promise last time and broke it as soon as he could to give a tax break to millionnaires.

Why are BNP not on that list, as a proud Englishman I will be voting BNP for a better Engerlund

The BNP have been depreciated in recent years and replaced with UKIP.

Well yeah, he committed suicide as a result (after a long running ting with Farage where he threatened to kill him).

I think Ed just announced that he plans to tax temporary UK residents on savings and money earned outside the UK.

Amazing how people always come out with comments like that whilst not even realising that's exactly what the Tories have been doing :p

It just shows, soundbites over substance every time

Cameron specifically commiting to NOT raising VAT has got me quite concerned about an incoming VAT rise if they regain power.
