Have put this in the monitors thread as it relates to a monitor.

Have had my first negative experience of OcUK today.

Placed an order for an Asus Monitor and was showing as 10+ in stock. Happy days, me thinks. Ask my Mrs to stay in to take delivery of the order and when i check on it this morning it is still showing as in the warehouse queue.

One quickly answered webnote later i am informed that they have low stock levels and are waiting delivery from the supplier before dispatching, which will be today. Order is still currently showing as in the queue, stock is still showing as 10+, so no chance of getting this before friday at the earliest.

Before anyone starts on this, this is not a 'give me something for free' rant. Am just annoyed that the stock level is showing as what it is and nothing has been dispatched.

I am not planning on doing anything rash like cancelling my order or taking my custom else where as i really love what OcUK do and have been buying all my computer bits form them for yonks. I just feel that this has slightly let them down a little and should be looked at so that other, less loyal people, dont have the same experience.

Cheers

Maybe they had more orders/reserves then they had re-stocked for and the people who order when it was out of stock are in the priority list?

Maybe they have not altered their stock becuase they havent sent anything out until they get more in..?

My system at work NEVER shows an accurate amount due to the fact that there is so much going in and coming out by hand that you have to remember not all of that work shows in these figures straight away..?

Just a few thoughts.
