A good bit of time with the Aryas now. Mighty impressed. Listening to music is like listening to it for the first time again, the detail is impressive. Gaming with them is spot on too.

Remember to add warranty via amazon like many of us did when we picked up the Arya's.

Yes the protection plan. Basically insurance for 3 years, given the fragility of planars and the general Hifiman build reputation.

I don't think you can sign up for the warranty on Hifiman's site as the seller was Amazon itself and not Hifiman's official store on Amazon. I note that the HE1000 Stealths are from the official Hifiman store so those would be eligible

Tried the Meze 105R, good head size fit, but ear pads are similar size to Sennheisers. Coming from Hifiman it feels small now.

Saw a pair of used (but mint) HD650 for £100…tempted for a minute but too similar to my Hd600.

Interesting on the Meze as I also am considering them.

Looks like I'm going to have to do a complete pads replacement on my ~2013 HD600s - the memory foam has gone in the headband (previously noted) and the foam insert covering the drivers is now starting to crumble.

Tube rolling can be fun, but also can get expensive - Enter at your peril

Something like a Darkvoice 336se would be a good start, or anything from the Xduoo TA-xx range. There is also the likes of Little Dot which are readily available on Amazon/Ebay.

Looks like it's going up against stuff like Arya range and Moondrop, wonder how it compares sonically though. I like the styling and materials.

Looking forward to some reviews, it looks excellent but it would need to perform super well considering the price you can get Arya's for now.
