As far back as i can remember i have used intel cpu's for gaming i do recall i owned and used an amd athlon 64 fx 57, i think i still have that somewhere (is it an antique yet :D) and i have always used nvidia cards i switched to them after 1 bad experience with a sapphire card cannot even recall what the issue was i think possibly drivers.
Anyway my pc is 4yrs old i5 4960 skylake and a gtx 970, i play dayz on this machine which runs nice but it is starting to show it's age, i initially was just looking at a new case but you know how it goes with us boys and our toys 1 thing led to another and voila i have a £1200 shopping basket which is ok i work hard so i can spend a little now and again.
The build advise i have received now points me in the direction of an amd ryzen 3600 cpu and a sapphire rx 5700 xt graphics card tied in with an msi b450 tomahawk max mobo.

My question i suppose is :- do i have anything to be concerned about?

the build i received is in this thread here thanks for looking and thanks for replying, if you reply:) if anyone can offer any other build advice or suggestions thank you aswell.

If you have the budget then you could push for the 3600x, also could push to bump up the 3200mhz RAM to 3600mhz.
Also an exhaust fan at the rear of the case could be helpful, nothing amazing, just something to promote airflow.
You wont gain much by doing these but you will gain a small amount of performance, other than that it looks like a solid build.

yeah RAM looks good and 1 x 120mm would be fine, just make sure you orient the CPU cooler so it sucks air from the front of the case and blows it to the back so the exhaust fan can push it out the rear
