General protection after rain/degreasing?

Hello

Just got in from the soaking rain, nice...

I clean using Elbow Grease to get rid of tar and dirt. Then use ACF50 for the unprotected/unpainted/moving parts/downpipes. Wurth brake/chain cleaner and Wurth dry lube for the chain and brakes respectively.

However after I've slapped degreaser over the bike I'd like to coat it in a protective layer in general. Something cheap though as I commute and the bike gets dirty and needs a general protector 3 or 4 times a week. Maybe something that's ok on chrome as well?

Any suggestions? Or do you think degreaser does a generally ok job as protecting/dispelling dirt?

I'd use Motorex 645 Clean and Protect but it's pretty dear.

Cheers.

Scottoiler FS365 weekly and your bike will be as new, use after a wash/rain!

ACF50 as you mentioned for the bit you can't see!

WD40 on electrics and I use on my frame!

I've just given my bike a good coat of ACF50 tonight. Will give it another coat at the weekend just to make sure I've covered everything.
