I used to work where I would deal with a wide cross section of people. About 70% of them that I spoke to were ill mannered and generally very thick. Lowest common denominator types. This has left me feeling that much of the population are stupid and should not do things without help.

What are your veiws of the general populas?

Most people - if you take the time to get to know them and learn a little bit about their hopes, fears, insecurities, goals and ambitions whilst simultaneously showing an interest in what makes them tick, how their childhood has shaped the way the now present themselves and how they think and act - are morons :)

Society has made them that way - people are scum though.

I would have to say that the majority of people that I have met are quite stupid. I do wonder how some of them manage to function on a daily basis. Although I have to admit I don't really mind stupidity, it's indecisiveness that really winds me up.

Perhaps it's just a coincidence but it seems to me that the stupid people are also pretty indecisive.

genreal population voted labour back in = morons.

General public have forgotten what the Conservative years were like = morons

So, I guess it's anyone you disagree with are morons :) It's like the old driving truism - anyone who drives faster than you is an idiot, anyone who drives slower is a moron.

Group IQ = Smallest individual IQ / Size of Group

However, it depends where you worked and what caused you to come into contact with people, which is important because without that information your views are worthless.

For example:

"95% of the people I have talked to are suicidal, therefore I believe that most people are suicidal" - Anon. The Samaritans.

You will come across some really nice people in the world and you will come across some people that aren't quite as nice, just as some people will be more educated than others. You will get some genuinely nasty people who have absolute no interest in anyone else and you need to ignore them to be quite honest. However, there is no need to bring yourself down to their level.

I would also agree with the people that are in groups will tend to act differently when they are alone and this is probably more due to the fact that everyone wants to fit in.

Unless you get to know the person and really understand who they are, to simply say use a word such as "morons" really speaks volumes about that individual in my opinion. :)

He's spot on with this. ;) Groups of people tend to be relatively stupid and easily led, individuals can be smart, however like all generalisations this is of very limited worth.

They seem to be getting more daft every day ,reason being that its the stupid people that are procreating.

Surely that's not down to people being morons, that's down to them not being clued up on politics, and being given a vote anyway so using it. Not everyone has studied politics, but that doesn't mean they are a moron. Similarly if someone votes for another party that doesn't mean they aren't a moron either.

There's many more reasons than that, it was half tongue in cheek.

The 2nd part of my post was the important bit.

People are smart, groups are generally stupid.
