General Question about Crossfire

I myself have got a Sapphire HD7970 Vapor-X, reviews stating that it draws up to 400W on load.

If I am to Crossfire it with another card, both at their stock clock 1050/1500, does the second card still draws up to 400W on load? If not, what is the theory behind this?

Thats total System power Draw.. I would say the GPU would probably compensate for just less than half of that though..

For Xfire 750W should be spot on.

I run an i7 3770k overclocked with 2 7950s both over volted and overclocked and the max read I've ever had from the wall is around 600W. Most of the time in game it hovers around 500W.
