Hey

After reading up about watercooling for so many months i've come a number of incidents where the Acrylic cracks in the res.

I was wondering how's the build quality/acrylic of the XSPC bay res's? prone to cracks?

I'm slightly forced to buy into a bay res to mount a D5 in it due to small amount of room and found that the XSPC is more in my price range and I won't be having a second loop so no need for the Koolance.

Thanks.

I have a XSPC pump/res combo and it's perfectly intact. It's only prone to cracks if it is overtightened. Buy in peace!

Edit: Had for about a year.

There is only a few cases were its happened.

You would be unlucky for at to happen to you.

Its the same with anything you can buy it can break

Yeah, too true. My friend was really unlucky ordered him a pump, res and some fans from different retailers and when we put it all together the pump blew after 5 mins, one of the fans didn't work and the res had a fracture in it lol

Not had experience with xspc res but the plastic res I have had that have cracked (as well as seeing others online that crack) it is a small crack that starts leaking small amounts at first so hopefully you will notice before any big leaks.

they will not crack.

the only plexi reservoirs that were prone to cracking were the primochill typhoons which were discontinued a long time ago :)
