General Sound Question! (Its doing my head in!)

I recently bought myself a set of creative 7.1 surround speakers and a sound blaster sound card.

My DVD player plays all of my films perfectly with the 7.1 surround which is very good i might add......

But when i play music through media player it only comes through the two front speakers. I know its only 2 channel but there must be some way that i can utilize the other 5 speakers!

Is there some software or something that can help?

Any help would be great!

Does the Soundcard have Pro-LogicII or DTS-Neo?... I think these two techs can up-mix 2ch Stereo to 5.1/6.1/7.1

Like above, did the Soundcard come with any specific software? As the music needs to be up-mixed to utilise all the channel. For example I only ever use Creatives MediaSource Player as it has audio-cleanup and upmixes the music for me.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 PCI Soundcard

Is there any way i can get a 3rd party app to do it through WMP10? Like an addin?
