General upgrade advice please

Been out of it for a while - haven't upgraded my board and CPU for five years!!!

Can someone please recommend a decent upgrade from my current system -used for a mix of gaming, music production and general media stuff.
No sound card needed as I have an external studio unit.

Intel 920 i7 @ 2.67
12gb ram
Radeon R9 200 3gb

That would be the R9 280x mate, had to google the memory bandwidth ;) (or another pointer)

You don't have a bad system at all if I'm honest with you. I'd start of by overclocking the CPU of you haven't already and that will require a new cooler :)

Then you can see how it goes and upgrade the GPU if necessary.
 
Thanks for the info on the card -its not that easy to find out!

I have gone for a new system build even though as you say its not a bad spec.
In fact I cant believe how long this system has lasted - I built it over 5 years ago and only upgraded the GFX card once!

My new system is Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz 16gb ram - should be good?
