Generals stopped working online

It could be something really stupid so forgive me if this is a dumb question

Just tried to play generals again after not touching it for months and I can't for the life of me get it to connect to the t'internet. It says can't connect to update server.

I remember when I installed it again a few months ago I had issues with connection but it was all sorted, now it's not working again.

I added all the ports into my firewall rules but still getting the errors.

Any ideas?

Er fixed it, stupid me.

forgot I'd replaced both my hdds and hadn't "installed" it again, just a file copy from the old drive. Reinstalled (well ran the msi again which skipped through most bits as it's already there, but it obviously put in some stuff that was needed, probably reg keys) and works fine
