Generation Zero - Steam - Any good?

It's £4.29 on Steam at the moment and it looks quite good. Anyone here tried it?

It's OK if you like stealthy open world looter shooters but it really needs to be played multiplayer as the difficulty level isn't really balanced for single player as you easily become the focus of all the bots in the area leading to the inevitable which makes the game more frustrating than enjoyable as you progress through the map. However it's been a while since I last tried it and they may have addressed this in the meantime.

It’s pretty good played co-op, quite like it. Wouldn’t be playing it single player though. Is on gamepass I think if you have that.

You can always try it and refund, just keep an eye on play time.

The only time i really enjoyed this, was when i managed to get a 50 cal sniper rifle and was blasting bots from a high point where they can't access. Was satisfying blowing off all the bits of armour plating and shooting the core components until they blow up.

I’m finding it brutally difficult at times. I think maybe my strategy just isn’t quite right for some of the larger enemies

Hit and run and shoot out the eyes. Find a spot that has cover from infront and above as the beestards will sometimes drop mortars on your depending on the enemy.

flares etc are quite essential too
