Yes, windows XP, and yes SP2. I was using AVG, but I've just uninstalled it, and about to install Avira Anti Vir. I am using the nVidia firewall that comes with most motherboard drivers.

Even if it doesn't solve this problem you won't get laughed at on OcUK.
