Imp MicroATX Tower Case (500w PSU)
CA-063-OP

Anyone able to tell me what the probable manufacturer is of the generic 500w PSU that came with the case, bearing in mind it was ordered in Dec2013?

I've tried to see but there are no manufacturer markings to suggest a brand name

Fixed heading.

I cant find any info apart from the case+PSU costing £29.99 back then, as you can imagine that doesnt fill me with any confidence if it was that cheap as a pair.

It's even worse now as you can get them for £22.95!! I would say the best place for that psu is the bin. I believe they are CIT units and that there are two versions. The older one with a white label appears to have a pathetic 14A 168w 12v rail and the newer version with a black label has a 28A 336w 12v rail. I would take those figures with a pinch of salt though as I doubt they would get anywhere near that. I wouldn't trust any system, no matter how cheap it was, with one of those psu's.
