Generic Spec me thread

Hey all,

My friend has asked me to build him a PC but i'm a bit out of the loop with the latest hardware.

His budget is £400 - 500 and wants it to play most modern games on reasonable settings.

If possible 2 setups at either end of the budget would be great

Yeah sorry forgot to mention, literally just the computer.

And not really, the hard drive he has now is pretty ancient!

Yeah I spotted that, Although i'm running a 6870 on a 400w atm

Also i'm not finding that motherboard on the site anywhere, got a link?
