Gentle Typhoons

I hope this thread isn't against the rules, but..

I found a shop that sells gentle typhoons, around 11 pounds a piece. A lot in stock but not over a hundred. Only 800RPM versions (Are these any good anyhow for rads?).

Question is, should I hoard them as I plan to use some for my future build NEXT YEAR, or should I just wait for options that could appear in the meanwhile? Maybe the new ocUK fan from Silverstone?

Would they be worth a lot in ebay later without being opened?

Opinions please.

At those RPMs, just about any fan will perform the same and be quiet too. It is only at the 1300-1400+ RPMs where the GTs outshone almost everything else. I would say no point paying 11 quid for those unless you absolutely like the look.

800 RPM also limits you to ~40mm thick rads with low FPI.
