Genuine car matts

My genuine Mazda ones were tat, wore through the heel in a few months, the best ones are the cannon profile rubber ones, I bought a set and have transfered them to several cars, tough very tough

I have size 14 - 15 feet and often wear riggers so I'm a bit heavy footed :p

I paid £75 for mine from BMW which I thought was quite reasonable. I probably wouldn't have gone to much more that £100, especially as mine are beige/cream. To be honest I don't like putting my feet on them because I know they'll get ruined :o.

Well I looked at 'Super deluxe' car mats and they were coming in at about £60 so £75 for the genuine one seems like a good price, as I suspect they are much better quality.

I just know that getting mud on them along with various crap such as diesel from the forecourt means they won't stay cream for very long. Still, I guess they're there to protect what is underneath them at the end of the day.

You have a speical set of mats for using the car for weddings? How often do you use it for weddings, its a diesel BMW not a silver Mercedes?!

Twice this year..only for bridesmaids though, and they were friends weddings. I always have two sets. The good set pretty much stay in all the time unless I get muddy or wet, then the other set come out of the boot.

I paid £75 for BMW ones direct from BMW dealership, they sent me 2 sets for that price. Obvious mistake is obvious but by god, I kept both sets :p

I was just looking into getting some the Xsara VTS - had a look and found some 'cheapy' ones online for around £25. Popped to the dealers to check the price of genuine ones... £172.06

I have no mats atm.

I must be the only one who doesn't care about his obviously-cheapo half rubber half carpet mats that came with his car then ;) They seem durable enough!

It's not just durability though, it's how they look and feel!

I've had cheap ones in previous cars and they are fine when new but as they age they look ass and fade and when damp they hold in moisture longer and smell/go all hard.

The manufacturer ones continue to look great and don't go all weird after a year!
