Genuine car matts

Mrk do you have palpitations whenever you're outside, about to get into your car and it's ****ing with rain and muddy all over the show? Deary me. Mats are mats. I don't care what they look like, they're not pink and flowery, they're black and boring looking :p

I've seen wedding photos appear on Facebook with the bridge getting out of a Ford Galaxy :o
What car did the broom get out of?

Er no? I don't know where you drive or work but everywhere I go there are no muddy areas that I have to walk on so when it rains my shoes are merely, get this, wet. And then - here comes the amazing science part - they dry moments later after I turn the blowers to the footwell.

No muddy shoes, no crap.

~£40 for genuine Honda mats that wear through in under 18 months (wife's heels), or ebay specials that cost £20 delivered and have a double-layer beneath the heel area and look better than the genuine ones anyway.

Paid 75 for the Saab but only did because it was a posh car, normally I'd append 20 or 30, dealer if possible or online if not. Honda wanted the best part of 200 quid for genuine mats  so got some from an online shop - was nicely surprised

Genuine FIAT carpet mats for my van (Doblo) so front only were...
£11!

I thought I mis-heard the guy on the parts counter! Rubber ones were about £30.

I have had the mats 2 years and they still look good too.

Thanks for the info, seems i'm not so mental after all! Maybe the gear knob for £60 is!? :o :D

I'm going to get these ordered after the cars been serviced, might even have them fitted whilst its being serviced if i'm feeling flush after pay day :p

Reminds me I need a set of mats on mine. Currently running with none upfront, originals looked pretty worn after 6 years.

Try a GTA gearknob for £110...the top bit is just a sprayed silver plastic too... :(

I would pay £50 absolute tops.

If the mats ever need to be changed in the Octavia it will be for the plain black ones at approx £35 rather than the vRS emblem ones for IIRC £80.

If dealer ones weren't possible for <£50 I'd just get some generic ones from wherever.

My car also came fitted with rubber mats "to protect the mats". Its that level of anal detail that made me buy the car but come on!
