So today I found out I had got some malware, and to ensure I killed it completely, I formatted my Windows installation and reinstalled.
Unfortunately, I found that I had deleted a partition on the wrong disk when the install began (I heard a HDD clicking which was wrong). I quickly pulled the plug, and have now re-installed Windows onto the proper SSD drive.
I now have about 500Gb of data which is recoverable on the drive which I accidently deleted the partition for. Paid for applications such as EaseUS data recovery can find all of the data as I haven't overwritten it, however all the paid applications either let you view but not recover data, or only allow you to recover a couple of GBs.
Are there any fully free data recovery applications out there that can recover data from a deleted partition?
