Need some good ideas for an SFTP solution.

Windows/Linux is fine but must have a GUI/Web Management front end.

Must be possible to seamlessly failover to another site (dns is handled by F5's) and must run smoothly under VMWare.

Anyone got any good ideas? Have looked at proftpd and eft for windows so far... :)

Well... this isn't going to be straight forward.

The only thing I can think of is having some kind of mapped drive for the files and having the same client installed on both boxes you can then load balance across the two servers.

Client wise I'd look at something like Raiden FTPD if you don't mind paying.

It's actually nice and easy to do, his requirements just complicate it, we do it for FTP with IIS and DFS-R to keep files current enough (along with session persistence on the geo-directors which keeps users tied to a specific site for long enough for DFS to work). It's easy enough if you split it down, choose a file replication solution and then choose a client which works with it.
