Hey

I'm trying to find the Manufacture specs for the geo setup of a Mk2 Clio 172.

But I'm failing at my google foo!

Does anyone know where this gem of information is hidden within this web of awesomeness that is the internet?

A map to its location will be greatly appreciated, with much grins beaming from myself when i can feel the sheer gratitude from the beast that is the 172 when its wheels are perfectly aligned!

So this shows me that my car is setup differently from the 182 and others.

If that is what i need I'm out by a lot.

Current Settings checked on a Hunters rig:
Front: L R
Camber: -1.53 -2.37
Caster: 3.06 3.19
Toe: -0.10 -0.10

Rear:
Camber: -1.31 -2.13
Toe: 0.07 0.24

So I'm quite far out it seems. Kwik Fit have given me 30 days to come back to adjust things for free.

I need to fix the Camber on the front myself they said, And i have a feeling simply undoing the shocks and adjusting them will be good enough.

Yea having a look for some now, if i can get them in time i will stick them on the car.

Problem is i get one free retest / alignment so don't want to get it wrong.

Is there anything i can use to check I'm adjusting the camber correctly before i take it back?

I think their meaning on the front Camber is actually more to do with the camber bolts themselves. It's common practice for high street garages (read: Kwik Fit) to refuse to undo camber bolts as these will seize quite easily. They could do a lot of damage to the car if the bolts decide they don't want to come out. If you can get the existing camber bolts out and provide new ones for them to use, I'm sure they would adjust it.

Alternatively, take it to a smaller garage and get them to whack the bolts out for you! :)
