Ok, so you could call me a Geordie, I was born and raised on the Tyne.

More Geordie than most anyway...

I really didnt want to like this show, I was cringing like hell most of the way through but it was so entertaining!

Greg is gonna do some serious pumping. The guy knows how to play it right!.

What did yas think? :D

Im still marginally embarrassed by it all though lol

I found it a mixed bag, entertaining half the time, drivel the rest.

Like most TV though you start building up a bit of empathy with (some of) the characters, initial impression was that Greg seemed like a vaguely normal bloke so I was kinda 'rooting for him' if you know what I mean. Him Vicky and Charlotte seemed ok, not fussed about the rest.

Not sure how they are going to develop the show, if it's more of the same every week it will quickly get old.

Greg was playing the game right I reckon, if you want a chance with anyone in the house ya need to let em think you are a gent at first and not bring slappers back right away, cos they might turn away from you...

Sweeten em up with the empathy like you say :)

Vicky was hot, pretty mature compared to the rest.

I was sat with lads from allover England. I was the only Geordie and I was raging with some of it. Very few Geordies go for the tanning life, contrary to what that gimp was saying.

But it became very entertaining. And the scrap at the end was quality lol

I found it very funny in places but its also very cringe worthy. Its one of them shows you need to take with a pinch of salt as you know its very different from that in the real world. Other shows such as "The only way is Essex" follow the same over the top acting really.

its shameful..orange faced goons, jobless selfish, vain buffoons

and thats just the blokes!

these people are a waste of skin

I can see why islamic terrorists hate the west after watching geordie shore..its everything thats wrong about people

it must be scripted as people really cannot be that stupid...hopefully darwinsim will kick in eventually and they will die when they fall asleep on a sunbed and inahle too much spray tan

Most of them actually had jobs, call centers, a tiler, a consultant or somethin. Not really a waste of skin, they are quite funny and obviously having a good time.

must just be my age..there is nothing funny about them, they are loud, boorish, ignorant, and self centred. they are only funny because people are laughing AT them.

if you were trapped in a lift with them it would be a toss up between either taking your own life or strangling the lot of them, I am sure just being in the same room with them would lower your own IQ.

It makes me wonder why you watched it if you were going to get so agitated about the people in it.

I just felt it was strange to mention Islamic terrorists in a thread about Geordie Shore's.

I watched it for 10 minutes (around the middle of the episode) and then had to change channel as it was too awkward for me to keep watching. I don't really don't see how they can string this out for a series as they don't seem to have much to go on besides drinking and trying to sleep with people (and the occassional fight)

I'm just glad I'm not originally from the North East as I'd feel embarrassed having them lot represent this part of the country.

Watched it on the MTV website. It's quite embarrassing for the North East to have these guys representing it. Pull, fight, drink, argue is all there is to it. I am also glad that I'm not from the North East. However, I will still continue to watch it because it is funny to laugh at how ridiculous they are.

I think its great! :D

Makes the Mackems seem pretty normal compared to the orange Geordies.

Ya not a propper Geordie unless you work out and your tanned - Yeah right! I must have been visiting the wrong Newcastle all these years!

i only seen it because i was at a friends with sky

it was entertaining, but obviously completely scripted / semi acted / choreographed whatever you want to call it. that would eventually get on my nerves too much so i wouldn't watch it regularly unless i was in the mood to see some fun bags

Watched some clips on the MTV website and thought it was shockingly bad. Saw one of the lads from the programme in a bar in town on Friday night and he was strutting around on his own with his muscles on show, quite funny :D I have to say though, the 'trendy' bars along Collingwood St in Newcastle seem to be overrun with Geordie Shore types these days and have gone downhill.

I tried to watch the first episode and made it maybe 5 minutes in before having to turn it off.
